Junie B.Jones: Lyric Theatre’s Musical for All Ages

Have you ever wanted to go back to First Grade? Well now you can! Thanks to Junie B. Jones, Lyric Theatre’s latest production in their Theatre for Young Audiences series, kids of all ages can experience first grade all over again. Based on the popular children’s book series, Junie B. Jones runs for three weeks at Lyric’s Plaza location and boasts all day-time performances.
This fun-loving show stars an invigorating young cast, many of whom play multiple roles. Kristin Küns stars as youngster Junie B. Jones. Cole H. Cloutier is Lennie/Sheldon/Chenille, Mahalia Gronigan is Grace/May/Mother, Justin Larman is Daddy/Mr. Scary/ Mrs. Gutzman, Micah Marine is Herb/Camille and Emily J. Pace is Lucille/Bobbi Jean Piper/Jose. Associate Artistic Director for the Lyric, Ashley Wells, directs and choreographs.
Junie B. is a treat for the whole family. Parents can introduce their young ones to the wonderful world of musical theatre, and will certainly enjoy the show for themselves! Kids will love joining young Junie B. on her first day of school as she navigates new friends, teachers, and all the adventures that first grade has to offer. Fans of the books will recognize the characters and storyline, and new fans will be thrilled with the energy and appeal of this engaging show. This is the perfect show for first-time theatre visitors. Delightful characters and catchy tunes will have boys and girls, moms, dads and teachers jumping for joy! Older siblings will enjoy the story right along with their smaller counterparts.
