“Ghost Stories and Wholesome Halloween Fun” Friday in Guthrie, Oklahoma

The Invisible Theater Company is performing “Ghost Stories and Wholesome Halloween Fun” this Friday evening (October 26, 2018) at the Guthrie Scottish Rite Temple, 900 East Oklahoma Avenue, Guthrie, Oklahoma.  There is a raven in the temple….

Sponsored by the Guthrie Scottish Rite Lodges # 35 and # 162, and Guthrie Ace Hardware, the production includes a selection of great Halloween stories such as “The Raven” by Edgar Allan Poe and other wonderful classics.  The presentation is done in a reader’s theatre format concentrating on the vocal presentation rather than a full scale production with scenery and each piece is ideal for this style of production.

Tim Heaton directs as well as performs alongside Rick Staton, Amy Staton, Jimmy Hartzell, Janet Best, James Long, Jim Case and Michele Heaton.  The Invisible Theater Company includes dedicated Masons and spouses interested in presenting works educating the general public.  Masons do degree work as a theatrical presentation and it is therefore more than appropriate to also lend their theatrical experience to the community at large.

The production is presented in the opulent auditorium at the temple and there is no admission charge to see the work.  However, donations will be accepted and presented to the Guthrie Public Library so a gift of any amount can benefit the great work the library in Guthrie does for the community and for the children in the community.

The Invisible Theater Company is filled with talent, amusing as well as dramatic, and it is well worth the opportunity to see these folks perform.  “Ghost Stories and Wholesome Halloween Fun” is lots of fun for the entire family with general seating.  The show begins at 7:00 pm and the auditorium will be open at 6:30 for patrons to be seated.  Come one, come all, come as you are, for Halloween fun surpassing tricks or treats with a treat full of trickery, witchery glee.
