Sharon Pollock’s Blood Relations is the mostly true tale of Lizzie Borden and the events leading up to and following the murders of her father and step-mother in Massachusetts in 1892. The play features characters based on actual people and events, as well as fictional characters.
Corrynn Englerth stars as The Actress, a mysterious woman staying with Lizzie, ten years after Lizzie’s acquittal in the infamous murders. Englerth also spends the majority of the show as Lizzie herself, as she is “acting out” the murderous events… Continue reading

Judy Collins conquered Oklahoma City last night. She came to OCCC to perform at the invitation of Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre (CityRep) and gave us a magnificent concert. Concentrating on the great songs from Sondheim’s wonderful repertoire Judy Collins is magnificent. Collins has had a long career in folk music, including folk/rock, folk/country and folk/everything.

“The Good Doctor” is one of Neil Simon’s most intriguing comedic endeavors, it transcends Simon’s wit embracing Anton Chekhov’s satire enhancing the humor in many cases but also diluting the power in the Chekhovian stories.
